Superposés à mes prismes corporels peints à l'encre de chine, j’expose des intérieurs photographiés d’anatomies d’autres individus. De la chirurgie esthétique à la dissection, je mets en lumière le volontarisme dans ce processus médical d’ouverture des corps. J'ai eu accès, grâce au CHU et à l’Université de Médecine de Nice, aux parts les plus intimes de personnes inconnues. Notre corps apparait comme un objet modifiable et adaptable au service de notre bien-être et de notre longévité, pour ne pas dire de notre immortalité. Et alors notre corps, un objet de culte divin ?
Superimposed on my body prisms painted in Indian ink, I exhibit photographed interiors of the anatomies of other individuals. From cosmetic surgery to dissection, I highlight voluntarism in this medical process of opening up bodies. I had access, thanks to the CHU and the University of Medicine of Nice, to the most intimate parts of unknown people. Our body appears as a modifiable and adaptable object in the service of our well-being and our longevity, not to say of our immortality.
And then our body, an object of divine worship?

La question du féminin et du masculin ne se résume pas à l’opposition entre les deux sexes, pourtant mes attitudes « masculines » m’ont souvent été reprochées. J’ai alors recherché à travers le corps d'autres femmes, la représentation de cette idée de la féminité. Je n’ai toujours pas rencontré cette chimère qui semble pourtant bien réelle dans certains imaginaires masculins. Je n'ai rencontré que des femmes dans toute leurs diversités, assez braves et courageuses pour tenter de déconstruire ce mythe par leurs simples existences corporelles et par leurs libertés d'être et d'agir.
The question of the feminine and the masculine is not just about the opposition between the two sexes, yet my "masculine" attitudes have often been criticized. I then searched through the bodies of other women for the representation of this idea of femininity. I still have not encountered this chimera, which nevertheless seems very real in some male imaginations. I have only met women in all their diversity, brave and courageous enough to try to deconstruct this myth by their simple bodily existences and by their freedoms to be and to act.
